Job Description:
Duties * You will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of
programs or operations in meeting established goals, measures and
objectives. * You will assure the accuracy and validity of
providers' credentials by monitoring verifications such as
education, training, licensure, certification, experience, clinical
competence and health status. * You will be responsible for the
timely processing of applications to ensure credentialing
requirements are met. * You will design and ensure the publication
of standardized forms utilized in the Credentialing
Review/Privileging Program and review all forms and local
directives annually. * You will work closely with the Legal
Department to schedule and coordinate meetings and fair hearings
(i.e. selecting a panel, developing dialogue and participating in
the investigation process). * You will research, analyze, collate
and prepare a variety of reports for higher authorities and
maintain Individual Credentials Files (ICFs) for over 250 active
duty medical providers. Requirements Conditions of Employment *
Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal
employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. *

announcement. * Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the
appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately
following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the

Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure
organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion
of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by
a local or command decision. * You will be required to obtain and
maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to
entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level
of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or
removal. * This position may require travel from normal duty
station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated
sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial
aircraft for extended periods of time. * You will be required to
complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card
for travel and travel-related purchases. * This position is
eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the
discretion of management. Qualifications Your resume must
demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or
equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal
service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing a
credential review and privileging program for health care
providers; providing technical advice and developing criteria
guidelines for evaluating credentials/privileging; AND planning,
coordinating and presenting accreditation training. Additional

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the
following education or combination of both education and
experience: * I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent
doctoral degree OR * I have successfully completed three full years
of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.
or equivalent degree OR * I have a LL.M., if related OR * I have a
combination of experience and education as described above that
equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required
education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one
